hi guys

my XR6 AUII revs fluctuate a fair bit when idling and when i attempt to start the motor it can take two or three goes. Is this something I should be worried about? is it a common problem with fords? is their a way to fix it?

could also be lazy injector/s. Hard to start may mean its draining back and losing pressure and the spray pattern could be up the duff causing the rough idle. (eg dripping injector that may clear up a little when given more juice under acceleration). U could try getting a long screwdriver and putting it on each injector and your ear on the handle and hear if one is a bit lazy? start with the cheap easy things first. I believe that generally the AU falcons idled pretty good but the E series were very touchy with idle.
