I wouldnt say a waste. if the XF Shell is good then it would make a great driver....

Depends on how much effort you want to go to.

You really need to talk to an engineer, but at a minimum you will probably require rear disc brakes, as XD & XE v8's had rear disc brakes, and you will need XE v8 spec front springs. Maybe a XE V8 master cyl & booster as well.

Is your XF unleaded? If so, the fuel tank filler neck will be ok. Does your XF have an external pump or internal tank pump? Will need a little thought on the fuel pump issue, but not hard to overcome!

Cheers

Get hold of an XH fuel tank. Bolts straight in, and has the pump for the EFI. Very easy job.

Good point, probably need the fuel lines too if the current setup doesn't have a return line. Looks like the conversion just got a lot easier! :D

Cheers
