Hey guys and girls,

I've finally decided to buy myself an AU Fairmont/Fairlane (not sure which series yet though), and want to build a carputer when I get it. I know that the high series AUII/III had an optional Satnav, with a colour screen mounted above the head unit, and have realised that it's a great spot to place the screen. The question is, Is it possible to grab the whole panel with the satnav opening, and place it into a Series I (if I can't find a series II/III)?

This is the one I'm talking about: http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/sho ... photo=3778

Thank you!!

it most probably would be as long as its a high series AU as the dash shape on the low series cars is differe,t - but a series II/III is worth trying to find for the brakes and NVH improvements too.

Thank you for that. I'll just keep a look out for a reasonably priced II/III.
