Hey guys,
I have a Fairlane that has an odd wobble wobble wobble sound, I think its a wheel bearing as a mate said thats what they sound like. Now I am sure there is a trick to figuring out which side the issue is, do you guys know what it is? Thanks in advance. |

jack it up and spin the wheel, listen for noises, rough metal on metal sounds
also give the wheel a wobble up and down then left and right, have someone look at the tie rods and balljoints while u do it when driving if the noise gets worse as u go faster then yeah probably the bearings |

It doesnt really get worse at speed but it dose get louder when taking left corners and goes quiet whwen taking right corners.

Almost definitely wheel bearings, especially when cornering. More sideways loading on the bearing= more noise. Don't worry about what side it is, always change both. It's a 15 minute job per side and plenty of info here or on the web about how to do it. Mine were $20-25 per side last time I did it.
Change them soon as do don't want one collapsing while you are driving along... Mike
