i have an au xr6 II which was been made manual and am running a vct manual series II computer.. it is having problems starting and accelerating under 3000rpm.. i had the computer put in by ford around 6mths ago and every thing was running great UNTIL last week.. i have replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, h/t leads, air filter i have had the fuel pump out and checked aswell... and cleaned the throttle body and run injector cleaner through a tank of vortex 98.. im starting to draw to a blank..

Blocked cat converter

engine is a non vct.. but ford reprogrammed which was reasonably cheap but it was working fine with the new computer for around six months..

the cat is a high flow and is fairly good cond..

problem was the fuel pump pick up. it was full of oil?? musta had a bad batch of vortex
