Borrow the correct size socket from a mate, or a local garage?

Or buy one from repco, they should sell them individually and they are of reasonable quality too.

G;Day.
Try a local truck repair shop. 35 mm socket is more common in 3/4 drive socket sets.

Cheers Stu.

we found one and got the hub off, but one of the bearing caps decided to sieze its self on the stub axle, got it to move about 2 mm. cant get a balencer puller in there so im gonna make a slip over thingy, slightly bigger then the stub axle but smaller then the bearing cap and sticks out around it, so i can use the puller to pull the cap out.

You could very gently grind the remaing inner case and split it off the stub axle.

all up and running, is was just an inner cap stuck on the stub axle, used a die grinder cut a slit thru the cap till it was fairly thin, hit it with the coldchisel and cracked and just pulled it off.

cheers for the help.
