Is the LSD standard? I haven't had a chance to figure out by
a) looking at the tag on the drivers side of the diff
b) lifting and spinning one wheel
c) burnout ;)
I'm searched everywhere and can't find whether or not it does, anyone want to help?

And @ Fordsrule174 my parents bought it for me, I'm still at school, so there's no way I could come up with those funds on my own.

to the best of my knowledge and basing off the history of ford it wont have a LSD standard it will be the LTD that will have it standard and the XR, fairlane & fairmont ghia will get it as a optional extra

but as a fairmont ghia i believe if you are a MKII BF then you will have extra power a 6sp auto instead of 5

had a feeling your parents bought it as even i would have trouble saving up for a car like that but my parents have made me appreciate the meaning of a dollar so ive had to earn everything i have nothing is really ever given to me so ya your very lucky your parents are pushing you ahead for the start but just dont forget moneys value m8 alot of teens how are been given there first car and are thinking like $4000 is nothing

the spotlights, and chrome bling can be had from ford or a possibly a bumper repair place. looked into this update a while back for my ba. was cheaper to go for the xr look and sell the spare bits. from memory ford want about $300 just for the centre piece of chrome on its own

:D Congratulations mate!!!! This is one hell of a car, i really envy your ride. I will most likely get a newer car in the new year some time. And it is a tuff choice whether or not to go for POWER  or class 8-) . Any way nice ride. All the best with it.

Thanks mate!! I'm really happy with the purchase also. I think the fairmont ghia is the best of both worlds, comfort, luxury along with xr6 suspension. If you want more performance you can go with the 3V V8 ;)

I've recently done a couple of photoshops of my baby. Tell me what you think!

The lip on the bumper in the first pic looks good, not sure on the grill though, I'd say leave the dash how it is, and the third one looks AWESOME!! You should definitely do that one!!
Thanks

I'm interested in the lower section of the xr rear bar and sideskirts.

There's also a kit for the standard BF Mk1 front bumper.

Gorgeous car mate, great find. Bit of a bargain IMHO, go ultra lows tho, your car on ultra lows and no spoiler would look mint. A lot of B series people that get ultra lows, think they are not low enough, and end up getting the springs reset

sorry guys for all the noob questions but would resetting the springs work with the bf ute i just lowered it inch and a half but.... would like lower and cant afford coilovers just yet lol

Yeah don't like the grille either. I'm going to do another with standard grille.

Just got this clock face to tie in the clock to the rest of the car, hopefully i'll find a dash template with the same design. Anyone have a template out of a fairlane/ltd?
