Hey guys (and girls)

Just after some advice. Anyway, a friend has just bought a car and has a stone chip on the rear quarter that has started to show signs of getting a little bit of surface rust on it....is there anything that he can use to rub it off and cover it temporarily until he can get it professionally touched up when he gets his bodykit sprayed?

I did mention to him that CRC stuff that Fuzion mentioned, but wouldn't the carnuba wax cause problems when he gets it properly touched up?

Any info will be much appreciated!

Use some rust converter to get rid of it first (or maybe that rust doctor stuff that XFfan101 was talking about.
How long is he planning on leaving it?

Should only be a couple of weeks, he'll touch it up himself if needs be, i think more than anything he wanted reassurance that in a couple of weeks it's not going to rust the panel away :D

It wont hurt it he could probably leave it for a year and it would still be ok, rust is only really a problem when moisture is in contact with metal for long periods of time
