I recently bought a few white LED tubes to put in my footwells so I can see when I drop it stuff. I thought I was buying simple ones but they have this mode button so I have to press it each time I use the car to get them to come on.
I was planning on just wiring them up to the interior light circuit so they came one with the roof globe, but it looks like they will be off until I press this button, even if they have a power supply. I don't want flashing lights, so is it easy to bypass this stupid switch? I can't seem to get the tube apart without breaking it to get at the circuitry. Here is a picture of the switch wiring Any help would be great. |

You could solder the 2 wires from the switch (blue and red) and remove the switch from the circut.
or possibly cut all cables Find neg, and ground it Use test light to find a positive.being a light it should only have - and + From the light it seems that you could join blue and red and use brown (A guess would be blue/red positive, brown earth/negative) |
