Picked this one up for $6000 from a mate wasnt running at the time, just offered him some cash as it was sitting in his yard for the last year or so because some mechanic couldnt get it running.

Bit of reasearch, reading, diagnosis, some new Ignition coils and leads and away she went.

$580 spent so far,

good clean up 2 new tyres and a windscreen passed a roadworthy with flying colours.

so All up just under $7000 cost me

Baught this car because like any other car I have baught because knew its history ( Mostly Highway KMS)

Now this thing has 147000km on the clock, just a few cosmetic marks and scrathes but mechanicaly I was shocked to find this thing is like it just came out of the factory absolutly no oil leaks not even weaps every thing works like it would have straight off the showroom floor every thing is nice and tight.

Also this thing is the top of the line model so it gets 5 x 16" alloy wheels climate control, sports seats, sports suspension, and so on everything except cruse control.

Dont have any future plans for it My wife just drives it, Will get rid of it in about 2 or so years and replace it with a falcon, fairmont ef-au when my Patrol runs out of its lease So I have a work car as I do 800km a week, will need something cheap to run Will keep patrol but too expensive to run that many kms without being on lease

I have a 03 ford focus Wagon; same platform just a different body.

I'm actually really impressed with the little thing. It has similar Km's to you one and hasn't used a drop of oil or water in more than 8000km of motoring.

It's great that u can fill the fuel tank 4 less than $50.00 and get about 600km out of it.

I was going to get the SP20 like yours but the Focus was just a bit bigger and easier to put my DH bikes in.

Yer my wife prefers the territory we had but i like the little mazda Much better build quality.

For a front wheel drive these little thing are awsome they handle like they are on rails, dont seem to get torque steer either brakes are amazing too. Perfect little city car. And defenetly one of the funnest cars I have owned and driven.

I'd love to take it out on a small tight race track would give some of the larger cars a run for its money due to its light weight and handeling.

im not sure if 98kw + 1200kg + auto..... will have an effect on the track

Not a big track somthing like a small street circut. This thing gets along very nicley even for an auto. loves to rev.
