Can anyone recommend a modification for the surround as the cover has blistered, would like a chrome one like in the older Ghia range

if you're talking about the part that simply unclips from the center console you can re paint it with some interior paint from repco etc. or replace the lot with gloss black stuff from the BF2 Ghias... (the second photo in this link http://www.aslautomedia.com/Products/facia.html
