There's like 5 screws, and two plugs.

As for issues, if the new cluster came from a car with features your's doesn't it could result in some warning lights being stuck on (ABS, TC, ESC, etc.)

You'll also get the odometer reading of the new cluster, which is dishonest at best, illegal at worst.
