im curious as to if anyone tried to fit a FG manifold onto a BA (xr6 non turbo), and if so how hard is it to fit, im guessing its not a simple remove n bolt on, although i hoping im wrong, and if anyone has a idea on performance gain?

Performance mods: typhoon + territory pipe with K&N filter, full exhaust, BPR generic tune, lowered, xr6t front brakes, territory rear brakes
Visual mods: 19" rim, lower grill mesh, oil pressure and vacuum gauges, engine bay lighting, foot well lights

I am guessing you are talking about the inlet manifold? as the exhaust manifold is the same as BA/BF.

Most probably the difference in the inlet would be wiring it up as I am sure they would fit the head of a BA/BF.

they would bolt up.
But as the BF manifold is just a BBM type and the FG is a variable plenum type you would need to change over all the wiring and the ECU to control it.

hmm yer i dont think ill be doing that, unless i find a FG in a wrecker with the whole engine bay intact... hmmm
