Hey,

Just thought i'd share with everyone my new toy :D

Had it for a couple weeks now and love it! My old EF Futura had a few issues and had to go, so i upgraded!
I bought it for $30,000 - it's a 6 speed manual 2007 model with 26,000kms on the clock

Anyway here it is:

Cheers guys!

Well when the warranty runs out:

- I will lower it to start with.
- Might remove the rear wing... unless it grows on me
- Exhaust system is a must
- New Wheels, thinking of 19" BF Cobras either the white ones or the alloy look
- Then some engine work but not too sure what Cam, induction etc

Also, being 20 years of age, owning a house and a new car i am currently a broke a**. haha so when funds arrive i will be doing little things here and there. I plan on having it for a long time so theres no need to rush!

Alan

ah nice, you can get quite allot of power out of these with a full exhaust and a capa flash tune. Cams are very expensive with these engines.

It will be interesting to see how much, as this is my first powerful car, it is a huge leap already from the stock standard EF Futura. I will have to look into cam prices in the future.

Do you know how well the shaker performs for air intake? They also look tough so if it has a good air intake increase/power increase then i will also contemplate getting one of those too.

I have been doing some research and have come across Herrod's home page, they are based in Vic but KPM motor sport provide their parts etc. There are a lot of mods you can do to these engines as i kept looking.

As i plan on owning the car for a long time, whatever i do to it i will be doing properly.

- The exhaust system i want is a EX73 Full Premium 2.5" System including ceramic coated 4 into 1 headers, 2x Mega cats 4 3.5" tips. It looks the goods and apparently does a good job of increasing performance.

- I also want to fit an SS Cold air induction kit
- An oil separator and breather kit

That will keep my pocket empty for some time so as cam prices are pretty Hefty, i'll have to make do with these mods until sufficient funds allow me to do more.

What do you guys think?
