hello all,im new to this,just want to ask a question,i have just put a 2lt into a mk1 ford escort,have the 2lt brakes in the front,do i have to change the back brakes for eu/certificate,also will a celica 5 speed gearbox fit on no dramas,i need some help thanks

Dont worry bout the celica 5 speed. Theres a guy selling a sierra 5 speed that will bolt straight to the back of your pinto motor. I think there was a difference in the width of the rear drum liners from mk 1 to mk2 (2 litre) and from memory theres sfa to swapping it over but I dont think its necesary purely because we never had to. How are you going finding parts? I had 2, 2 door mk 1's back in the mid 90's and it was hell back thern (pre interwebz).
