The old Supra and Celica 5 speed boxes were only ever considered as an upgrade to replace the old single rail and M21 boxes in 1980's falcons and commo's only in applications up to around 300hp.
when someone now says supra gear box I instantly think of the 6speed unit out of the 2jzgte powered supra's and aristo's. The old 5 speed unit is considered a museum piece, just like the 7m-gte it was bolted to. |
