Would a standard AMP wiring kit work with a aftermarket amp (pioneer) and the Premium Head Unit (double din) as im considering buy the ford EF EL premium head unit and a AMP wiring kit with a pioneer amp and i cant get a wiring kit for the stock unit

i ask as im not 100% sure if the ford stock wiring and a after market wiring kit would work together as i haven't compared them

If you don't have the premium amp/head unit original wiring then it's going to be difficult to find the right connectors at the head unit end and make a cable to suit. I would just buy an aftermarket head unit (Pioneer have good ones) to match up your amplifier. Plus you can have bluetooth, and USB MP3 which is far more useful than CDs these days.
