Hi Peeps, I searched for a resolution for this problem and came up empty handed somewhat. Alot of information regarding to EA to EL's etc but no AU.

Any ideas or solutions on how repair the crack that is started to appear next to the clutch pin.

the pedal boxes are very different, although suggested solution may work
for starters the au pedal box can be removed without removing the dash, but merely dropping the steering column, although I have heard au2/3 are diff to s1.
ef/el are diff to ea-ed. x series I believe are pretty much the same, a large way through, but don't know the exacts.

I know that AU1 and AU2/3 are different beasts, mine is an AU2 I was looking and could only find roughly 6 to 8 bolts that need to be undone.

2 on the steering column, and about 4 to 6 on the base plate that attaches to the floor pan
