Looking at installing a 100 CPSI High Flow cat next week when I have competition pacemaker extractors with full remap and custom tune with a 83 deg thermo and mandrel band 2.5" stainless sports exhaust system installed.
Has anyone had a 100 CPSI cat installed. If so are you happy with the result. Has anyone had any canneries from the noise it emits?? |

Can't comment on a 100 cell but i have a 200 cell ( i dont think there is overal much difference in flow rates tbh) But i love my exhaust and its not too loud. I think it will more be if they check you for emissions that is when you will most likely run into problems with being defected etc

A few years ago a cat was a cat. no cared about CPSI, and guess what, no one is making any more power now.
so if you think you can waste the money, go for it. |

Maybe not emissions legal if they do a sniffer test , but under NSW road law all it says is you need to have a functioning cat fitted.
Never says how well it has to function................

Here is my cat. That is a 600mm steel rule beside it. It has a 2 & 1/2" inlet and twin 2 & 1/4" outlets. It is all stainless steel construction....and it is a Zuna-Starker cat....from a BMW...emission legal, high flow.
