hey guys bought an ef 1994 model falcon for 450 and the alternater was stuffed i was told so i get it home pull it apart new alternator in and no go so i put old one back in test it no go so i checked the fuse the 100 amp 1 was blown i was wondering wat would cause it to blow

Well putting in a battery backwards will do it - I know first hand - I watched my mother-in-law do it :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
But unsure of anything else - someone should be able to help you out on here though

so asked around and the way the fuse could have been blown is by jump starting and when disconecting the jumper leads they have touched so just to be on the safe side i bought a couple of 100 amp fuses
