Just upgraded light globes to much brighter lights and need to change the parger globes and am not sure how to take the originals out of the headlight. It is a AU II.

Their easy to remove. they should be push-in type globe holders. Don't even have to twist. If i can't get them out by hand, i use a pair of long nose pliers and gently pull them out.

It is a AU II. confused me at first aswell u can easily get to them by taking the rubber surround thing off one of the headlights(i forget if its high or low beam) just like you would if you were changing your headlights and they pull out the back Cheers Cam

Bumping older thread...
I have exactly the same problem as the OP, I can't get the globe holder out. Twisted it almost a turn each way. I was huffing and puffing (holding my mouth since it was late, quiet and I didn't want to scare the neighbours!) for over an hour trying to get the stupid thing out. I also tried pulling on it but obviously didn't use too much force. Seems very loose and rattly which is why I thought it was keyed and needed to be turned to the right point for removal. I'll give it a go again, I guess... |

Just a quick update, I gave it a good pull and it eventually came out.
Looks like the sort of thing that will break after a few goes. I've had this car for 5 years and I can't believe I've never had to replace a parker... already done headlights about twice each... |
