 Post subject: HELP removing brake caliper piston

Hi as the heading says, rebuilding my brakes on my ef and cant get the piston out, have read about using compresed air but i have no compresor so any one got any other ideas?

Put it back on the car, and use the brake pedal.....on way to do it without the right tools.
Do what you got to do, then refit and do the other side.

take one brake pad out of one caliper,and pump the brake pedal,it will push out.will drain the master cylinder---flush it.do all 4 the same---front pistons are steel -chromed and rust,rears are aluminium and easy.
