Ford make the servicing thing look cheaper...for those that look into servicing costs...such as large fleet buyers.
Look at the service schedule for an EBII/ED Falcon....all major services at 40K intervals...listing brake fluids and coolant too.
Now look at the service for EF/EL Falcon.....all major services at 50K intervals.....droped listing the brake fluid & coolant, as well as the tranny service, in the schedule.....if you have both, you'll see what I mean.
I was working on these at a Ford dealership back when they were new.....I remember the differences in the service books/owners manuals.
