hey all i have a xh ute and a ed fairmont, and i was wondering if anyone has changed the rear bush
in their auto box before, cos i am about to change mine and i
was told that i needed a special tool to do the job,
any advice would be great

Yes you do. This is them....one to press the bush out, the other to press it in...and one to fit the seal.
Take note how the bush is aligned too.

When i got mine done, we just used a correct size socket and slowly tapped it in,

completely useless to you but the Fluidrive in Bendigo has a tool so you can change it without dismantling the auto at all. they did it for me in half an hour. do they have fluidrive in perth? i've lived there but can't remember if they do. maybe they have the same tool

but other than that i believe you have to drop off the extension housing
