hey guys im in the middle of replacing my oil drain gasket and the botom bolt screws in and tightens up but the top one goes in but dosnt tighten up.....what could be wrong??? it will go in all the way but then i can just pull it straight out again WTF????

Sounds like you stripped the thread.

Is it on the sump or the turbo? Not sure which bit your talking about.

its on the sump but i havent stripped the thread cause i just screwed the bolts them self into the sump and they both tightened up so i got no idea whats goin on man

You would have stripped the beginning of the bolt thread. Without the drain fitting the bolt goes deep enough to engage the thread but doesnt with it fitted.

A slightly longer bolt might work. Otherwise you will need to put a helicoil in it or drill and tap a larger bolt hole and use a larger bolt.

i got some longer bolts...worked
