This is for and project i am doing at school

I need some figures on how much a turbo system would cost for a 351? i dont need exact figures but some round about figures would be helpfull, or even just some prices you know of for like installation or components etc. And i know all the information is out there and i have found a lot, but for this project i need information sourced from real people to get good marks.

Since no one I know offers an off the shelf kit the price will vary quite a lot. Also depends on if you are using new or 2nd hand turbo('s) and how much (if any) fabrication work you are willing to do yourself.

A new turbo a Borg warner S476 is about the cheapest for under $1k..
A Master Power T70 Q trim or T76 next cheapest..The T70 is alttle large on a std 5.0
to give you some idea..
With twins ?? A big sized T3 with no smaller than .63A.R turbines..
With a 5.8 your going to make serious power and some turbo's don't get efficiant till atleast
8 to 10 Lb..
As said its the fabrication of the exhaust manifolds where time and cost is..
