G'day people.

Can someone provide me with advice.

I have a few tears on the windscreen trim of my AU II Falcon.

Can these be removed and replaced without taking the windscreen off or are these trims fitted to the windscreen prior to sealing it?

The other question...I have seen some rear windscreens and rubber trim in good nick in some cars at the wreckers, are these easy to come off or will the trims break?

Cheers

Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Can these be purchased from Ford spares directly or from a cheaper supplier?

If cheaper supplier, what's the name of the company?

Thanks

The moulding on the outside is to prevent water from getting in under the windscreen.

You can take it off and reapply a universal moulding. Try Obriens or similar.

G'day uniacidz,

Yeah mine is stuffed, there are tears on a few sides and someone tried to put silastic and other crap around the edges.

I think the windscreen has to come off before you can place this moulding on it. Would this be correct?

Cheers
