Damn straight Frank, thanks for pointing that out. I think there's a trade off in peak power, or the shape of the power curve, or something of the like.

hehe np i knew 6cyl knowlage applies to V8 somehow love the broadband manifold
mmm has any one actully thought of fabricating a broadband manifold for the 5.0? woudl be waste of time maybe.....

The 6 cyl guys with EF onwards have a dual plane manifold. It can choose between 2 intake runner lengths basically. Allows EEC to control aspects of torque and power.
