Just wanted to know how hard it is to convert a factory ba xt to a turbo and what the cost would be if I did it myself. I'd appreciate any help..... Cheers.

If you buy a complete turbo motor setup it is actually a pritty easy conversion if you do all the work yourself it can be rather cheap I would say it would have cost me around 5 to do my wagon thats with complete xr6 turbo motor, turbo gearbox and a custom 10psi tune.

You can buy a xr6t for $12000 now. Not worth it the conversion.
The extra 5k you spend on top your xt you can sell your xt and you will get a complete xr6t, seats, brakes, diff, box, ec, etc, etc... Save some cash and sell your xt and buy a xr6t, you maybe even find one modded already aswell My 2 cents worth
