nothing too fancy i had the crank ballanced when i rebuild the motor stainless valves and seats

thats about it but the mechanic said that i can get this motor up to 300 his one is doing 305.3rwkw.
I didnt believe him until he put it on the Dyno i was surprised same ute as mine with the same motor, but mate that ute is f*%#ing deadly i want mine ti reach that amount.

Maybe with a turbo hanging off the side. If your mechanic reckons he got 300rwkw N/A out of a ford i6 he is either a) on acid, b) on mushrooms or c) "special". I have only seen a handful of cars around the 200rwkw mark running i6's on petrol. 4/5 weren't street driven.

So you had a fully rebuilt engine and only just fit an exhaust and you reckon you got 198rwkw on stock cam? That oil must be fantastic...

Hey mate

ive taken it to dyno testing this morning and KW IS 198.2 and i want it to reach 280 so i have a long way to go.

Dyno Sheet!!!!!!, plus what are your torque figures.

I have seen 198RWKw on a i6 and that motor is a Mongrel. Massive built, BIG Cam, Mass Headwork. I can't see these figures without cam and headwork, massive headwork.

Sounds like the old 'italian' measuring system being used here, to quote Richard Hammond 'How many horsepowers do you have?...A big number is good yes?....Yes.... Then 1 million Horsepowers...' Mind you there is a BA ute here with a turbo 6 that makes 1000 rwkw up here. I saw this at the dyno drags at the motor show a few months ago.
