Hello once again people,

I have a 6cyl Ford AU Series II, year 2000 vehicle.

About 3 days ago I noticed oil on the ground which appeared to be coming from the front of the motor.

Took no notice of it until today.

Jack the car up , places stands in case of jack creep....had a look underneath and all I could see was some traces of oil under the sump that seemed to come from the front.

There was oil on the cross-member and towards the front part of the engine.

I could not see any leaks from the crankshaft, sump or tappet covers. I assume it must be coming out under pressure.

Has anyone else experienced this and what was the problem causing it?

I would like to resolve this oil leak.
