My brakes have been basicly non-existant for some time now due to a faulty brake booster... i have replaced the booster 3 times and each time the booster has been faulty. grrrr Anyway, i now have an AuII (steel) Booster and Master Cylinder that i am assured was working prior to removal.

My intentions are to fit this to my Ea if the master cylinder is compatible with the EA brake calipers??? I assume this will work ok so I have gone ahead and modified the firewall to accept the new booster. At this stage i cannot mount the original master cylinder as it doesnt match the Au Booster...... so i am going to fit the AU master cylinder as well but one of the 'brake line nuts' is of a different diameter to the other 2. Can i replace the different line with one from an EL (as that uses the same diameter thread as the AU) or can i fit the correct 'nut' and re-flange the line if possible???
