Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone knows or can recommend anywhere near maitland where I could get my guards rolled, hopefully today. I've been asking around at the tire places while sourcing some tires for the other car, but the only answer I get to "Where can I get my guards rolled around here?" is "Oh those things shouldn't need it unless your running 20's" That's all well and good, but it's not exactly saving my tires poor sidewalls right now Any ideas?? (Tempe tires used to do guard rolling for $20 a guard, I would expect not to pay much more then that...) |

Have tried vice grips, planks of wood, lots of bending but Im trying not to damage the shape of the guard, the tire has done that enough for me already
(That's what happens when you let the missus take the car for a long drive) |

Please try not to be so helpful, that does not solve damage already done..
I don't want the sidewall to give out at 100 k's due to damage caused by the guard, at this point its not likely to happen, but if I don't get the guards done it will destroy a $500 tire (and possibly much worse)... The suspension is only 2 months old and is still settling lower, so this is only going to get worse before it gets better, which wont happen by itself |

Sarcasm? lol...
Jumping into peoples threads and telling them to "just drive slower that'll fix it" is about as useful as "oh those don't need to be rolled unless your running 20's". If you were giving reasonable suggestions I really wouldn't mind your input... *bump* Anyone up Newcastle way that might have a clue? |
