Hi guys,

My 1993 eb fairmont v8 usually has awesome cold AC...

Now that it is heating up i went to turn my AC on and theres no cold air?

I checked that the Pump is engaging when i turn it on.

I think it may be the climate control unit somehow?

You can here a whoosing noise under the dash when it is turned on but just no cold air.

ANy ideas? is there any relays or anything i can check? i cant find a fuse...

COuld it be that it is dead out of gas? I dont thin this would be it as it is usually icy cold.

PS i have replaced the climate control unit before but cant remember why...

When you say no cold air, does that mean the air is coming out at ambient temp or just no air at all?

exact same thing happened to me, one day ice cold the next day no cold air just normal air. It ended up being a gas leak (the compressor cuts out when the gas is low also). My gas leak was the evaporator.

Air con is ice cold again except i am having some teething problems!
