Do some T5's come out with a rear counterweight?

I was under the car yesterday looking for an annoying rattle, when I started thinking about the counterweight? hanging off the back of the rear housing, now I can't say I have seen this on many T5 photos I have seen. I know some tail shafts had a big balance ring on one end, but what about this:

One of my T5s didnt have it.. in fact its the one thats in the car which has been there for around 2 years now with no issues.
I have been meaning to find it as I took it off the other one to clean it all up.. and now its MIA in my shed :|

Ah cool, it's just that pretty much every photo I have seen of a T5 has been out of the car, and they must have removed it.
