Guys.

Is there any difference to the fuel lines on the EB/D 6 and 8's?

Im not wanting to know about a conversion to an E-Series, Im wanting to know because Im looking at putting the E Series Fuel lines into my XF. Obviously the 6 Cyl lines are a *lot* easier to come by.

Id use the ones in my DC, but theyre a little too long

The V8 ones listed for EB/ED V8s are different to 6cyls.
Why not try to get some from an XG Ute?

Surely the only difference is the shape of the fuel/return lines at the engine bay end. Nothing that can't be reshaped, or cut shorter and have fuel hose run to them.

In other models there were differences in ID of Fuel Line, differences in the way the lines ran around the gearbox (for example - XF Runs near the box... XE 6 and 8 could be different etc)

In this case - its important. The 5.0 into the XF will require some exhaust on the P/S of the car, and Id love there to be some muffler as well. The XF Lines wont support this. Im hoping the EB ones will, and specifically, that the EB v8 ones will do the job.

I dont beleive theres a difference at the engine bay end - the NC I have has a combination of flex and solid lines to extend them where they need to be

How did you go with this mod Nigel? i got some XG fuel tank flexible lines & removed them from the 2 metal pipes that protrude into the tray. I cut all the flexible lines from these fitting to have them adapt to the engine fuel lines, extending the XG 6 cyl engine bay lines the these quick release fittings. i'll take some pics for ya soon.
