Ok, this one has probably been asked a thousand times. Can you fit this to a sedan, is it hard to fit and make operational, and will it take some abuse ie 150 to 170rwkw?

Which AU utes come with a diff lock? I thought it was only a BA RTV thing?
Ive got a 4wd systems lokka in my ute. It would fit a sedan too. |

yer only BA RTV got it and iirc it unlocks as 70kmhr
should be pretty easy to fit into an au as the diff is the same ( live axle ) http://cars.ebay.com.au/FORD-BA-BF-UTE- ... 0557816120 ebay so it is an electronic lock nice and easy not sure why the axle tubes have been removed...

Do you reckon it would go into an EB? Would be interesting trying it out on the strip, especially off the line and at 70kph with only 160rwkw or so it shouldnt (i hope) have to many traction issues when it unlocks, almost a poor mans detroit locker...

A 4wd systems lokka is $80 more and will fit without mucking around and it wont unlock at 70kms.
If that falcon locker is anything like a standard issue 4wd one it will break after minimal thrashing. They are made to lock the axles to negotiate slow obstacles/mud. Nothing else. |
