Hello guys i have been thinking over a couple of weeks about a conversion to take out my current engine, transmission and diff and swap it all over with a BF or FG xr6 turbo running gear i need some info to back up my theory and would this be quite a easy conversion and also what would be the costs involved i have seen a xr6 turbo engine and ZF transmission sell for around 7.5k on ebay at one point. If i was to do this i would change the running gear everything from engine to diff. I need some opinions as to which shops would do these types of conversions in Melbourne south eastern preferably.

There have been countless threads on the topic.
Assuming you have a 4sp auto in the BA, your biggest issue is changing wiring looms to run the ZF box!
Installing motor and box is straight forward.
