hey guys i owen a 1994 ef xr6 im having a few issues with it atm the main problem is the lights. last night coming home from work all my head lights cut out as i switched the high beams on =s and from then both my high beams dont work only the low beams. the parkers seem to stay on when they all cut out. dose any one have an easy fix for this problem

the fuses where fine... are the relays the big square looking things with the four prongs?? if so how do i tell if its f#*ked? i have a spear el xr6 down the back that iv been pulling parts out of. so ill have some spare relays if there the things i think they are =s

It's the 30A circuit breaker that hangs at the end of the relay block, next to the battery. Replace it. If you have changed to higher wattage globes, change to 40A breaker (Narva pt # 54740BL) but you'll have the change the connector as the 40A breaker needs ring terminal lugs.

another problem solved thanks you you guys. wasnt the high beam switch i finnaly got some spear time to strip the relays out of the el xr an replaced them all in my ef and now i have high beams agen!! And on another note my high beams seem to be a tad brighter so i hope thats a good thing.
