nothing much is really gonna clean it if the plastic is discoloured
but u could try removing and flushing with bicarb soda or CLR CLEAR try adding some small pebbles and shaking the s**t out of it but after u have done all that - if u really want a clear one - buy brand new and fill with demineralised water and coolant(my preference is tecalloy gold) |

yeah tried plenty of times no point really, you'll get a fair bit of crap out but it won't be clean, still look dirty and discoloured.
get a new one or paint like svo.

Remove oferflow tank. Fill with washing powder or napisan and hot water, soak for and hour, then shake and rinse ... then pour a cup or two of a*** sand in, fill with water and shake thoroughly. Rinse VERY well before re-installing. May still be a litlle discoloured but will do the best job of cleaning the slime out!
