I would have shopped around, you should have been able to get the GRA kit installed for similar money to the impco, as the basic hardware costs are close in both setups.

Cheers

I didntend up using a GRA kit as the only competent installer wanted an extra $600-800 over a impco setup so I gave it a miss, just incase it didn't do what he said with the added cost and stuck with the tried and broken impco.

As ur in VIC there are a few ppl that know how to tune GRA systems well.

You got any recommendations on work shops that know what their doing with these systems down here mate?

Iv read mixed reports on Rapidflow which are on GRA website as installers, and from what iv read i wouldn't go near Smithys lpg but haven't heard much about the other workshops that are listed down here in Vic.

Anyone got any information on the following workshops?

BBL Auto Repairs
Rapid Flow Development
Lakeside Automotive
Smithys LPG & Automotive Services
Lister Automotive
Howe Automotive
Pakenham Tyre & Mechnical

Rapid is good but some ppl have had a bad experience with them, but a lot of ppl have had a good experience so u have to gauge them for urself.

JPC is also good and go to calaisturbo.com.au LPG forum and u will see what shops the vl turbo boys use.

I've had good dealings with rapidflow but YMMV.

Your Mileage May Vary....

I've had some gas work done on my EB Ghia, my torana a few years ago & some mechanical work done on my g/f's Tx5 turbo, that I just didn't have the time to do myself. I also have a couple of mates with Vl turbo's on gas research gear, they get their gas work done there, swear by them...

But there are those who have had bad things to say about them too..... not me tho....

Cheers

You get that about every workshop. You will never ever hear of %100 customer satisfaction. As there are some people that no mater how good the work and price is, they will never be happy.

And no mater how good the mechanic is, He is after all human and will not be %100 perfect and will make mistakes. (it's how he/she deals with the mistakes that make the difference)

That's a very good point there tickford_6.

At work I'm usually hearing good things about Rapid flow.
