I have a 2005 xr6 with 63000ks on when the engine is hot after a long trip (200/300ks) it gets a bit rattlie under the rocker cover.Is this normal, has good oil in and not due for a service for another 8000ks.

Has some one fitted a Clevo in it ?? ... LOL....

Yes seeing as it gets noisy when hot.. Try another thicker oil ???

but with 63000 it shouldn't need thicker oil. fair enough if it was around 100000 you may need to bump up to a 15w40 maybe.
