It is possible, BUT, it is not just a bolt in swap.

You would need to trick the Auto ECU to think it is always in neutral.

And without the matching 300kpa fuel reg, uprated camshaft, intake and exhaust mods, you would see little or no benefit. Infact it may even run worse as it will be too rich.

If you are prepared to get the rest of the parts etc, it does make the car feel more lively and stronger through the mid range to top end.

well the eb has a 250kpa 2.5 inch an stock intake the cam well im not to sure.... we got bord anhooked it up just to test it. it broke traction easyer an felt smother as the rpm rose... we had no troubles with it at all. so i dout the engine is stock an the ecu that was in it dosnt seem right its catch code is (1DAD) is that the right ecu for a june 93 eb manual..

a "1dad" is a eb manual ecu...

The EL ecu has timing and fuel maps designed to work with the EF/EL BBM manifold. Just be aware that it is mismatched. Perfect opportunity to convert to the BBM however.
