what should i use to get the black plastic between the hood and wind screen all shhiny.
tried amorall protectant and just isn't shiny enough. thanks

Just take the grills off n prep them then paint them gloos black or colour coded if you wish - finish with nice clear coat..
otherwise just use auto glym plastic repairer, wont last nealry as long tho!

I rubbed my EA one back with wet and dry then just clear coated it, came up looking great. No more chalky look after.

meguires trim detailer comes up as new but only lasts a week or two when it gets wet

I'm another one for Mothers Back-To-Black..Works a charm. i did all the black plastics on the exterior and they came up looking awesome. I did my bumper and that turned up awesome aswell.

Baby oil does wonders on this, just did mine this arvo... only problem is it doesnt last more than say a week....

Using clearcoat maybe more work, however I owned the car for 3 years after and it still looked great.

i took mine off, primed it and sprayed it in black enamel plasti-coat.
came out f**ken beautiful... all it took was a nice hit arvo to do. |

Chunks dunno mate. My sals on the door frame (the harder plastic) they had white specks i used a bit to clean that um worked really good.
I found that baby oil works good on the interior door handles and dash when it goes all crappy and crusty like, i did it last year and its still looking darn good.
