Just a quick question I have a Nf fairlane with a Au motor in it and have been offer a t5 manaul conversion cheap I know pedal box won't fit but the rest I don't know ?

As mentioned, extension housing is longer, and you have to cut shifter hole...

Due to longer box, means you need a shorter tailshaft too.

I had a T5z in my XH, which broke in the end anyway. But had to fork out for custom shaft ($300) which in the end was a waste. Now running a T56 that I wish I just bought to start with (same shifter location, same tailshaft as T5) - no need to cut floor etc...

The T5z is apparently stronger than the E series T5 tho... and feels nicer to shift
