If you remove all the screws that retain the floor plate, you'll be able to remove it,and gain access to the top shock nuts as well as the fuel tank.Same as my XG.If you want easier access to the top shockie nuts & rubbers, get a 45-50mm hole saw and put a hole where the top of the shock is in the sub-frame(underneath the car),and you'll save a heap of time having to pull the floor plate up as well as having to get someone to help you change the shocks.Just get a couple of rubber plug grommets from Clark Rubber to plug the holes up.
