The BA stuff will be fine for mounting the engine....it's still basically a modular, engine mount and bellhousing wise. It will of course have much less height than a 5.4.
It's possible the BA pcm will be able to take the code of the FG for VCT control but even if it can't you could adapt an FG pcm....obviously some wiring changes will be required.

Not so sure about that, having seen one in person, it still sits pretty high in the bay. Probably doesn't need the bulge but wouldn't be far from needing it.

I think FPV's charger/intake manifold are still pretty big.

The coyote is 4.6 deck height so it's a lower engine. What you put on top of it makes the difference.

I wasn't sure if you were talking deck height or overall height.

Yeah, the block and even the 4v VVT heads are smaller than the 5.4 BOSS heads too. The coyote (as opposed to the miami FPV made) is very small in overall size (when compared to even a 4.6L 4v modular).

Well, deck height relates to overall height.
I wonder if these heads can fit a modular?...same bore spacing etc, so maybe.
