they are a pain in the rectum cos they are an odd size (5x7)...
Cheapest option is get a set of premo speakers out of a Fairlane AU-BF (will FG fit?) as they are a true 2 stage speaker, wont hurt to get the A pillar tweeters while your at it......

http://www.jbhifi.com.au/car-sound-gps-navigation/speakers/cadence/150-watt-speakers-sku-28128/ you can actually get a few different brands in 5x7", the only issue is stores don't stock them. Cheers Cam

au99 fg runs 6 inch round speakers front and back in their own custom shaped pods.
as for 5x7s i used to run jbl 5x7s on the parcel shelf, and some mtx 6inch? round splits in front on my au and ba |

If your on a tight budget get a set of jaycar tweeters for the front with crossovers, they`re only $25.00 the pair and are one of the best sounding tweeters ive heard, ive had clarion splits in a previous car and the highs didnt sound near as good as the jaycars, other than that your choice of amp and sub, just though i`d mention the tweeters condidering they`re cheap.

in my opinion rockford fosgate make the best 5x7's but that is only my opinion. having worked as a audio installer for several years i have fitted them to lots of au's. it has been at least 5 years since i worked in the industry so i am sure that there is plenty more out there now, but i found the rockford range to be very good
