Theoretically it should only take him 2.83 seconds to reach his desired speed if this was the approach he was going to take. Also he only needs to drop it from a height of 39.33 metres to get to that speed.

Did you take into account, the extra weight of the DOHC turbo engine, and the Cd of a EL XR?

No I didn't.

I know the cd is alittle over 0.3 so if someone can provide me with a realistic frontal area and weight i should get a more accurate result.

launching it out of a rail gun or similar will not only see greater acceleration but also a better top end speed. Turbo not required.

I'd say the only thing that this car will achieve in 4 secs flat will be the 4 sp auto blowing to pieces :lol:
