I run a Clutch Industries/PBR RPM clutch, stage 1. I find it a bit heavier than a stock clutch, but not enough to b**ch about & not use as a daily driver. My engine doesn't have too many mods, and it has been holding up to my use & sometimes abuse for the last 12 mths now rather well.

By abuse I mean the occasional launch at 4000rpm, and towing tandem trailers with car's ontop, so loading the tow bar up to about 2000kg (rated for somewhere around 2300 to 2500kg), and just yesterday I towed a charger from Sydenham to my place, about 55kms. Taking off there was a slight bit of slip as you get when hauling a huge load, but once it was moving, no slip at all in any gear.

Would it be good enough for 200 rwkw? Maybe not, I don't have that much power lol. Would I buy another one for my current setup? For sure.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

Speaking of towing....I've got to make a trip from here to Geelong & back...to pick up a car on a trailer. I'm in the middle of fitting a 2300kg towbar. Made and fitted a powersteering oil cooler, and added a pair of spotties. The next thing to do is to change the engine oil, just before leaving, change it from 15W50 to 25W60.
The trip will be about 4400km.....but with this flooding happening, may be a lot further... :( .
See how the clutch stands up to that.
Should be ok, 4th gear, 3.27 gears.
This is what i'm picking up........has no engine, no trans, and no brakes....so can't get anybody to transport it.
